The actress has recently hit headlines with her engagement with renowned Telugu actor, Naga Chaitanya. The latter was previously married to South Indian actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, Naga and Samantha divorced after four years of marriage, which left the former couple's fans heartbroken. Recently, we stumbled upon old videos where Sobhita shared what she liked about her now fiance, Naga Chaitanya, and his former wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
As the news of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala went viral, netizens were quick to dig up old photos and videos of the couple. We came across one video where Sobhita sat down for a rapid-fire round with Bollywood Bubble during the promotions of her show, The Night Manager 2. In her conversation, she was asked about what she liked about a couple of South Indian actors.

The interviewer first asked what she thought about Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In her reply, Sobhita said she found her journey and ability to headline a project to be really cool. She was quoted as saying:
"I think her journey is super cool. If you see her filmography, the way she can headline a project right now, is really cool."
In the same conversation a year ago, Sobhita was asked about a few other South Indian actors like Rashmika Mandanna and Prabhas. Next, the interviewer mentioned the name of her now fiance, Naga Chaitanya. Initially, she was confused because the interviewer had just mentioned 'Naga,' a short form of his name, among the fans. So, the interviewer clarified his name, and the actress said she found him calm and dignified. For the unversed, the couple have reportedly been dating for the last two years. In her words:
"He seems such a cool-headed, dignified and calm guy, I really appreciate it."

On August 8, 2024, veteran Telugu actor, Nagarjuna shared the announcement of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's engagement on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. He shared the first pictures of the couple from their big day and shared that the engagement ceremony occurred at 9:42 a.m. He further wished the new couple and welcomed Sobhita into the family.
