Take a look at the picture:
Did you just do a silent ‘awww’? We surely did! When it was Inaaya’s six-month birthday, Soha and Kunal celebrated it and cut a cute half-cake for Inaaya. She shared a beautiful picture of the celebration and captioned the picture as, “It may not be your full birthday but any reason to celebrate you is a good one #halfbirthday.” And how times flies, Inaaya turns 9-month old today!
Inaaya was recently in the headlines when her mommy took her out for an evening stroll in her pram. Her intense look and her peach hair-band added to her cuteness. Checkout her picture here:
Soha and hubby, Kunal Kemmu welcomed their adorable munchkin, Inaaya on September 29, 2017. In a throwback interview with Delhi Times, Soha had shared that Inaaya is her next ‘big project’. Soha, being a chillax mommy isn’t bothered about sharing pictures of Inaaya with her fans and followers. What she is bothered about is ‘buri nazar’. At the same interview, she shared, “No, not all. She is a part of me. I realised it became a headline that I worry about her in terms of nazar and all. Obviously, we are protective about her. Every parent is. We do everything from Kaala dhaaga to kaala teeka even if we are not superstitious as it makes someone else happy, so there is no harm in it. I worry about the attention she receives but I am proud of her. I am happy to share my happiness with her with the world but it is unfair to the kids, be it Taimur Inaaya or any child to be exposed to too much attention from media. Childhood is innocence at the end of the day.”
About the values and ethics that she wants to inculcate in her daughter, she remarked, "I want Inaaya to be her own person. I would like her to have open communication with me. Things like integrity, trust, loyalty, being kind to others, are some of the things I would like to see in her." She further added, “It shouldn’t be that Inaaya remains only surrounded by love and positivity. She should also be a strong person, with the [sense of] security to withstand criticism... and also be able to laugh. I think having a sense of humour is very important.”
She also shared that she wants Inaaya to develop a tough skin and be able to withstand criticism. She stated, “I’d like to exhibit that kind of behaviour around Inaaya. I do want her to have a tough skin — I believe that in the world today, it’s important to have one, otherwise it can get to you. People are very direct and outspoken, and sometimes you hear things that can hurt us. I want her to be able to withstand that.” She was further quoted as saying, ‘’Also, one must learn to respect other people’s opinions. If somebody disagrees with you, it doesn’t mean you block them out or you remove yourself from the equation. Sometimes, it’s good to have a healthy debate. And then, of course, you can agree to disagree as well. And live and let live.’’
We wish Inaaya, a very happy 9-month birthday!
