Sonakshi Sinha has embarked on a forever journey with Zaheer Iqbal. The couple registered their marriage in the presence of both their families on June 23, 2024. Just a few moments ago, the actress took to her Instagram account and shared the very first glimpses of her civil ceremony. While Sonakshi wore an elegant chikankari saree, Zaheer twinned with her in a similar-hued kurta. The couple's civil ceremony, which reportedly took place at the former's home, was attended by some renowned names in the industry.
Recently, a few glimpses from Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding have surfaced on social media. In one of the videos, the newly-wed couple was seen sharing a warm hug after signing their marriage certificate. Zaheer also planted a peck of love on his bride's cheek. Moreover, Sonakshi was captured flashing her brightest smile and later, she also jumped in joy.

In another video, Sonakshi was seen standing alongside her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, when her now-husband, Zaheer, touched their feet to seek blessing for their new journey. The bride's teary-eyed parents gave their love-filled blessing to their damaad. Afterwards, Sonakshi adorably hugged her husband.
Sonakshi Sinha, who opted for her mother's chikankari saree and jewels for her big day, made a special entry. Huma Qureshi's brother, Saqib Saleem, with many others, was seen holding the phoolon ka chadar over the bride's head. As Sonakshi walked towards her groom, she was visibly emotional.

On June 23, 2024, Sonakshi took to her Instagram account and shared her first pictures with her now-husband, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple and both their families looked extremely happy. She also penned a heartfelt note with the pictures, which can be read as:
"On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.
