Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal stepped into a new chapter of their lives together on June 23, 2024. The couple who had been together for almost seven years now, tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act 1954, in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by their friends and family members. Unfortunately, despite their union being a love-filled one, the duo has been facing constant criticism on the internet, as people have raised eyebrows on their inter-religious background. However, their special wedding video proved how Sonakshi and Zaheer remained unbaffled and madly in love, despite the noise outside.
Taking to their IG handle, newly-wedded couple, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal dropped their precious wedding video, that captured special moments from their registered wedding. It opened with a large panoramic view of the actress’ apartment balcony, where the event took place. It was all decorated with white floral arrangements, that matched with the outfits of the bride and groom. Sonakshi and Zaheer could be seen completing the paper work one by one, as their friends and family members cheered, teased and sang songs.

In the next frame of the video, it was Sonakshi’s turn to put in her thumb impression on the wedding documents, and as soon as she finished it, the diva could be seen screaming and jumping in joy, and then giving a tight hug to Zaheer. At this moment, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, as well as Iqbal Ratansi and his wife were seen looking at their children lovingly, as they got united forever.
Towards the end of the video, Sonakshi and Zaheer could be seen exchanging varmalas, which also matched with the neutral vibe of their wedding. After that, the duo completed the final step of their wedding initiation, as they took a mic each and verbally pronounced one another as husband and wife. The moment was emotional, and Sonakshi couldn’t help but shed into happy tears. Along with their video, the couple penned a joint caption, that subtly addressed their happiness as well as dismissed all speculations of discord running in the family over their wedding.
