Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been enjoying their married life to the fullest. The duo joined the 'married club' on June 23, 2024, and delighted the nation with surreal glimpses of their registered wedding. Later, Sonakshi and Zaheer hosted a grand wedding reception at Bastian, Mumbai, which witnessed the attendance of many well-known celebrities. Now, the couple made their first public appearance after their wedding.
On June 26, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha marked her first public appearance with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, after their wedding. The newlyweds were spotted by the paps after they arrived for a family dinner in Mumbai. Sonakshi and Zaheer happily posed for the paps and looked so much in love. For the outing, Sonakshi opted for a beautiful three-piece red dress and flaunted her bridal glow. Soft makeup, bun hairdo and a pair of heels completed her look. Zaheer complemented his wife in a white shirt paired with black pants.

As the newlyweds, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal enjoyed the night together, their family friend, Anu Ranjan, took to her Instagram stories and shared many inside pictures from the same. The photos showed multiple images of the couple posing with other guests at the dinner date. Sonakshi, too, clicked many selfies with Zaheer and her family members. Apart from the newly married couple, we can spot Poonam Dhillon, Poonam Sinha, Huma Qureshi and many other people at the intimate party. However, Sonakshi's dad, Shatrughan Sinha, and brothers, Luv and Kush, didn't attend the family dinner.
For her first appearance with Zaheer Iqbal at their reception, Sonakshi Sinha opted for a red-hued Banarasi saree featuring golden sun and moon prints all over it. She teamed the drape with a matching blouse. The actress wore a statement necklace and matching earrings to complement her look. A gajra-adorned bun hairdo, soft makeup, alta, sindoor and jewellery made her look the prettiest on her special day. On the other hand, Zaheer donned a white-hued sherwani paired with an embroidered jacket.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's union came as a surprise to many people. The duo had an interfaith marriage, but Sonakshi didn't convert her religion to Islam to tie the knot with Zaheer. However, people left no stone unturned to spew hatred on the newly-wedded couple and even tagged their wedding as 'Love Jihad'. While Sonakshi and Zaheer kept mum on the criticism, the actress disabled the comment section of her wedding pictures post.
