Shatrughan Sinha's ladli beti, Sonakshi Sinha recently took a plunge in her life by tying the knot with Zaheer Iqbal. The madly-in-love couple got hitched to one another in a civil ceremony at the actress’ Bandra apartment on June 23, 2024. While signing the papers of marriage under the Special Marriage Act of 1954, Sonakshi held Shatrughan's hand tightly and proved to be her daddy's princess. However, now it seemed that some problem had arrived, health-wise, in the family, as the actress and her husband were spotted exiting Kokilaben Hospital.
On June 28, 2024, a paparazzi handle shared a video featuring the newly wedded couple, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's car leaving Kokilaben Hospital. Since then, concerned fans were left wondering about the stars' health while a few also doubted Sonakshi's pregnancy in the video's comment section. However, a report in ETimes claimed that the couple was visiting Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, who had been admitted for a routine check-up.

A few days ago, Shatrughan Sinha took to his official X account and shared rare glimpses of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's intimate wedding and reception bash. In the glimpses, Shatrughan dropped a video of Sonakshi walking towards the aisle, under the phoolon ka chadar. While the beautiful bride mesmerised us with her look, upon arriving at the small stage arranged for her marriage registry moment, Zaheer can be seen warmly receiving the love of his life with open arms. Following this, Shatrughan also posted lovely photos from Sonakshi's reception.
Although Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot in an inter-faith wedding, in a video shared by her father, we could also see Hindu rituals being performed over there. A pandit was heard chanting mantras for the kanyadan ritual in the presence of both Sonakshi and Zaheer's close ones. Sharing the beautiful moments, Shatrughan wrote a heartfelt note for the couple, which could be read as:
“With an attitude of gratitude we would like to thank everyone for celebrating with us on our special day seems to be the ‘wedding of the century’ with your warmth, love, congratulatory messages for our darling daughter #SonakshiSinha with #ZaheerIqbal as they start a new chapter in their beautiful journey of their lives.”

Well, it seems Sonakshi is not only her daddy's princess but also a lovely daughter of her mother, Poonam Sinha. Soon after she posted photos from her civil wedding, a report in News18 claimed that she was wearing her mother's saree and jewellery. For the wedding, Sonakshi looked elegant in an ivory-hued saree featuring floral embroidery and teamed it with a simple striped blouse. She completed her look with a necklace embeaded with precious gemstones and pearl drops, matching stud earrings, and a stack of bangles to accessorise her look. Moreover, she kept her look subtle and opted for dewy makeup with a white roses-adorned bun hairdo.
Well, no such clarification has been provided by Sonakshi Sinha for her alleged visit to the Kokilaben hospital.
