Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to her long-time beau, Zaheer Iqbal, has become the hot topic of discussion. The intrigue surrounding the event is not just about the interfaith aspect, but also the whispers of a family feud over Sonakshi's choice of partner. The absence of her brothers, Luv and Kussh, from the wedding has only added fuel to the fire.
Sonakshi Sinha's inter-faith marriage to Zaheer Iqbal raised a lot of eyebrows, and so did her family equation before the wedding. While there were continious murmurs about her family's disapproval of the wedding, they were all present on the D-day and also blessed the couple. However, Sonakshi's brothers, Luv and Kussh were not seen anywhere in the wedding.

On the evening of June 23, 2024, the entire Sinha family was seen attending the reception party and even posed for the paparazzi, but her brothers were nowhere to be seen. Even during Sonakshi's bridal entry, Saqib Saleem and others held the phoolon ka chadar over the bride's head, not her brothers.
When The Times Of India asked Luv about Sonakshi's wedding, he revealed that he was not in Mumbai and added that he had no comments or involvement in the matter. This seemed quite odd as Sonakshi shares a great relationship with her brothers. In Luv's words:
"I have no comment or involvement in the matter."

There were reports suggesting that Sonakshi's mom, Poonam Sinha, wasn't happy with her marriage decision, but refuting all such claims, the actress donned her mother's wedding saree and jewellery. For the wedding, Sonakshi Sinha looked elegant in a chic ivory-hued saree featuring floral embroidery. She teamed her look with a simple striped blouse in the same tone. She completed her look with a necklace embeaded with precious gemstones and pearl drops, matching stud earrings, and a stack of bangles to accessorise her look.
