Sonakshi Sinha rose to fame with her debut in Salman Khan's film, Dabangg. As she is the daughter of a renowned actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha, making a place in Bollywood wasn't difficult for Sonakshi. After leaving her own mark in the hearts of fans, Sonakshi is all set to turn a new chapter of her life with her longtime love, Zaheer Iqbal. However, there were family discord rumours in respect of Sonakshi's union with Zaheer that have been making rounds on the internet. On top of it, her twin brothers, Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha's absence, from the family get-together right before her wedding added fuel to the fire.
Sonakshi Sinha has always been open about her life choices, and owns it up. Recently, we stumbled upon an old video of her with Farah Khan. In the clip, we can see Farah Khan revealed that Sonakshi lived in a home, which is called Ramayan and her father's name is Shatrughan. To this, Sonakshi proudly revealed that her father also has three brothers, Ram, Lakhan, and Bharat. Not only this, Sonakshi added that her brother's names are Luv and Kush, and her home is called 'Ramayan'.

To this, Farah quipped that she doesn't have a name like 'Shrupanakha', and said, "They could have given you also a name from Ramayan, nai Shrupanakha aise koi nai?" Sonakshi hilariously revealed that she is doing the work like Shrupankha only. She said:
"Shrupankha wale kaam toh kar hi rahi hoon mai.. Pichli baar naak katwa ke aayi thi.."

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Shatrughan Sinha talked about his daughter's wedding. He added that he was in Delhi and had not talked about his daughter's plans. The third-time elected MP further stated that his daughter had not told him anything about her plans, and he got to know about the same through the media as he was out of home due to election work. However, Shatrughan Sinha added that he would give his blessings if Sonakshi informed him about the same.
However, it was later, when reports about the Sinha family being not happy with Sonakshi marrying Zaheer, Shatrughan, in an interview, stated that it was all false. He added that he is going to be partying with his daughter on June 23, 2024, at her reception. Later, Shatrughan Sinha was seen attending a get-together which was attended by Zaheer as well. It was a happy moment shared between all the people close to Sonakshi, but her brother's absence raised eyebrows.
Well, Sonakshi Sinha is definitely a strong woman, raised by an extremely strong father, Shatrughan Sinha. She proved that women can make their own decisions, and if they are right, the parents will also eventually agree to them.
