Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot in a civil wedding on June 23, 2024. The couple embarked on their forever journey after dating each other for seven years. To mark their union, Sonakshi and Zaheer signed the official wedding registration papers at the former's home instead of opting for an elaborate wedding ceremony. The couple dropped surreal pictures to announce their wedding, leaving everyone in awe of them.
While the internet is abuzz with inside pictures and videos from Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding and reception ceremonies, we got hold of one of the videos from the duo's pre-wedding rituals, which was shared by their Zaheer's sister, Jannat Vasi Lokhandwala. In the unseen video, we can see Sonakshi and Zaheer sitting on a couch as the latter's sister performed the rituals. The Heeramandi actress looked elegant in a traditional suit and left her tresses open. On the other hand, her husband, Zaheer opted for a white-hued embroidered kurta.

Sonakshi and Zaheer were seen donning floral garlands while Jannat performed a ritual and gave the couple a warm hug. The then-bride was swooned by the tenderness of the moment and got teary-eyed. She wiped the happy tears with a tissue and flaunted her brightest smile. The caption alongside the video can be read as:

For her civil wedding, Sonakshi Sinha turned into a minimal bride as she opted for a cream-hued chic saree with floral patterns embroidered in thread. She teamed her drape with a simple striped blouse. The bride wore a vintage necklace featuring precious gemstones and pearl drops, matching earrings, and a stack of bangles to complete her look. Subtle makeup, a bindi, and a white roses-adorned bun hairdo added stars to her bridal look.

After their civil wedding, Sonakshi and Zaheer headed to their reception party and stole the show with their appearance. The actress opted for a red silk saree with golden thread embroidery and teamed it with a plain blouse. To accentuate her look, she donned heavy bridal jewellery, including a necklace, earrings, and a stack of red bangles. Minimalistic mehendi, sindoor, glam makeup, and a small red bindi completed her bridal look. Zaheer, on the other hand, complemented his wife in a white sherwani.
