Sonakshi Sinha has embarked on a forever journey with Zaheer Iqbal. The couple registered their marriage in the presence of both their families on June 23, 2024. Just a few moments ago, the actress took to her Instagram account and shared the very first glimpses of her civil ceremony. While Sonakshi wore an elegant chikankari saree, Zaheer twinned with her in a similar-hued kurta. The couple's civil ceremony, which reportedly took place at the former's home, was attended by some renowned names in the industry.
As Sonakshi and Zaheer are married now, the guests have started coming to their reception venue. In one of the paparazzi videos, the groom's father, Iqbal Ratansi, was seen wearing an ivory-hued sherwani and smiling ear to ear as he arrived at the reception venue. Meanwhile, Zaheer's mother looked stunning in a gorgeous floor-length, heavily embellished dress, which she paired with a sheer dupatta.

Bollywood actress, Huma Qureshi, who shares a close bond with the bride, Sonakshi and groom, Zaheer, has also arrived at the reception venue. For the event, the actress wore a heavily embellished saree paired with a jacket. She accessorised her outfit with earrings and a bright red rose.

A while ago, Aditi Rao Hydari, who starred with Sonakshi in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, was spotted leaving Sonakshi's home after the wedding ceremony. She was accompanied by her fiance and actor, Siddharth. The actress was seen wearing a beautiful Banarasi traditional outfit paired with a kundan choker, her fiance, on the other hand, complemented her in a white kurta paired with black sunglasses.

On June 23, 2024, Sonakshi took to her Instagram account and shared her first pictures with her now-husband, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple and both their families looked extremely happy. She also penned a heartfelt note with the pictures, which can be read as:
"On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi (infinity emoji) Zaheer 23.06.2024."
