Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have finally gotten married after dating for seven years. The couple registered their marriage in the presence of both their families on June 23, 2024. Just a few moments ago, the actress took to her Instagram account and shared the very first glimpses of her civil ceremony. While Sonakshi wore an elegant white saree adorned with intricate threadwork, Zaheer twinned with her in a similar-hued kurta. The couple's wedding ceremony, which reportedly took place at the former's home, was attended by their near and dear ones.
After registering their marriage at Sonakshi's home, the newlywed couple headed to their reception venue. The actress oozed elegance in a red silk saree adorned with golden threadwork. She accessorised her saree with a heavy bridal set comprising a necklace, earrings, and a handful of red bangles, and flaunted her minimalistic mehendi.

What caught our attention was her sindoor-laden maang and the addition of a small red bindi. She opted for glam makeup comprising of perfectly lined eyes and nude lipstick, and a neatly tied bun hairdo adorned with gajra to complete her bridal look. Meanwhile, Zaheer complemented his wife in a white sherwani, which he paired with brown shoes.

Recently, a few glimpses from Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding ceremony have surfaced on social media. In one of the videos, the newlywed couple was seen sharing a tight warm hug after signing their marriage papers. The groom, Zaheer also planted a peck of love on his bride's cheek. Furthermore, Sonakshi was captured flashing her brightest smile and later, she also also seen beaming with extreme happiness.

On June 23, 2024, Sonakshi took to her Instagram account and shared her first pictures with her now-husband, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple and both their families looked extremely happy. She also penned a heartfelt note with the pictures revealing that they started dating on June 23, 2017. Sonakshi's note can be read as:
"On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi (infinity emoji) Zaheer 23.06.2024."
