Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have embarked on their forever journey together, and their happiness knows no bounds. The duo, who had an intimate wedding at Sonakshi's home, hosted a grand reception bash at Bastian on June 23, 2024. Glimpses of the star-studded party are all over the internet and we are swooned by them. Now, we got hold of an unseen video from Sonakshi and Zaheer's cake-cutting moment.
In a video doing rounds on the internet, we can see Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal grooving to the song, Tere Mast Mast Do Nain. The couple looked so much in love, and their chemistry spoke volumes about their bond with each other. Sonakshi was dressed in a red-hued voluminous anarkali with golden embroidery all over it. She kept her overall look fuss-free and enjoyed the ceremony to the fullest. Meanwhile, Zaheer donned a cream-hued embroidered sherwani.

We can also see a four-tier cake placed on a table in front of the couple. The scrumptious cake was adorned with beautiful red flowers, and the duo's initials were written on it in gold. Sonakshi held Zaheer's hand while cutting the cake and was seen screaming in joy. The couple was beaming in happiness as the guests cheered for them during the special moment.

After their civil wedding, Sonakshi and Zaheer headed to their reception party and stole the show with their appearance. The actress opted for a red silk saree with golden thread embroidery and teamed it with a plain blouse. To accentuate her look, she donned heavy bridal jewellery, including a necklace, earrings, and a stack of red bangles. Minimalistic alta, sindoor, glam makeup, and a small red bindi completed her bridal look. Zaheer, on the other hand, complemented his wife in a white sherwani.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had an inter-faith marriage, which left people speculating if the actress would convert to Islam in the future. However, in an interview with the Free Press Journal, Sonakshi's father-in-law, Iqbal Ratansi revealed that the actress is not converting to Islam. Zaheer and Sonakshi's union signifies their love for one another, and it is not related to their religions. Ratansi added:
"She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever. I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi."
