On December 10, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha's husband, Zaheer Iqbal, turned 36. The Bollywood couple continue to win the hearts of their fans with their cute bond. The pair who are avid travellers, now have given more reasons to love them. A video from Zaheer's birthday celebration went viral. He is seen celebrating his special day with his In-Laws, wife, Sonakshi and the evergreen Rekha.
Zaheer's In-Laws, Poonam and Shatrughan Sinha, had joined his birthday celebrations, along with veteran actress, Rekha. Everyone clapped for Zaheer as the 'Happy Bday' song was played in the background. Poonam, Shatrughan, Zaheer's dad, Iqbal Ratansi and Rekha, were clapping during the cake-cutting ceremony. The clip is heart-melting as Zaheer can be seen cutting his birthday cake while his wife, Sonakshi, and his family members stood by him. Rekha looked stunning like a goddess as she attended the birthday celebrations.
The clip begins with Zaheer blowing off the birthday candles and feeding Sonakshi the first piece of cake, but she tells him to give it to his dad. He feeds her and then feeds the cake to his dad. The video is all things cute. Zaheer for his intimate birthday celebration looked casual and chic as he wore a white t-shirt coupled with a black jacket, chain and a locket. On the other hand, Sonakshi looked stunning in a pink dress, she teamed up with a trendy denim jacket and looked chic in the outfit.

Sonakshi had taken to her Instagram handle to share an array of pictures on Zaheer's special day. The pictures were all cute, as Sonakshi was seen giving the sweetest kiss to Zaheer. In one of the pictures, she was seen resting her head over his shoulders and embracing him tightly. The Heeramandi star expressed her love for him in the birthday post as she wrote, "After your mom, im the happiest you were born! Even happier that i married you. Happy Birthday best boy - I love you.”
The couple married on June 23, 2024, under the Special Marriage Act. The couple was dating for 7 years and selected June 23, 2024, as the date of their marriage as it was the same date when they started to be in a relationship. In a joint post, the couple also wrote that on this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017), in each other's eyes, they love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. They shared their first wedding pictures as man and wife and also mentioned how their love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs, leading to the moment of marriage.
