Sonakshi Sinha's dream of getting married finally came true on May 23, 2024. While she had her own share of hiccups, she was finally able to celebrate her biggest day with the people close to her. After reports claimed that Sonakshi Sinha's parents were not happy with her marrying Zaheer Iqbal, it was all shushed as the parents happily attended the celebrations. Not only this Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha happily danced at their daughter's wedding and reception.
After a registered wedding, Sonakshi celebrated her happiness with her family, friends, and colleagues. For the night, Sonakshi chose a gorgeous red Banarasi saree from Raw Mango. The saree featured a chand-butti design all over it and had a golden border. The bride styled it with a U-shaped blouse featuring 3/4th sleeves. Sonakshi's look perfectly made her stand out and hid all her curves.

While we were in awe of Sonakshi's reception look, we found out that the same saree was first worn by yesteryear diva, Madhuri Dixit four years ago. Yes, Madhuri donned the similar Raw Mango saree with chand butti but in purple tones in 2021. Madhuri styled it with a sleeveless blouse that accentuated her look. Talking about her accessories, she ditched the neckpiece and opted for a statement chandbalis. Just like Sonakshi, Madhuri also styled her hair in a low bun with gajra.
Upon researching, we found Sonakshi Sinha's reception saree price, which is Rs. 79K, on the official website of Raw Mango. However, three years ago was around Rs. 60K. Not only this, the saree is from Raw Mango’s textile archives from the late 18th century. And the bride, Sonakshi, did complete justice to her pretty saree.
For a girl, there is nothing more special than to wear her mother's saree or suit for her big day. And Sonakshi, who is extremely close to her parents, made sure their blessings are with her as she embarks on a new beginning of her life. Sonakshi picked her mother's cream-toned saree. Sonakshi accentuated the subtle ensemble with her choice of jewellery which included a polki neckpiece and matching earrings. Soft makeup, a small stud bindi and hair styled in a low bun completed her look.
Sonakshi and Zaheer fell in love seven years ago on the same day, they signed their wedding papers. However, it was in 2022, when Zaheer made their relationship Insta official. He shared a goofy video of Sonakshi hogging a burger on her birthday. Not only this, Zaheer had also confessed his love for her. He wrote. However, the couple kept their relationship away from the media limelight and people's scrutiny.
