Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding has recently been the talk of the town for more reasons than one. Rumours are rife that Sonakshi's family is not happy with her decision to marry Zaheer, and there are also speculations that her family may not attend her wedding. However, refuting all the claims, Shatrughan Sinha recently revealed some exciting details to Times Now.
Although, Shatrughan Sinha wanted to clarify the issue, his statements made us wonder if Sonakshi is already married to Zaheer Iqbal. He also talked about the pre-wedding stress and conflicts he and his family are going through ahead of Sonakshi's wedding reception on June 23, 2024.

In a conversation with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha revealed that a lot has changed in the past few days as the family is gearing up for Sonakshi's wedding. He added that on June 23, 2024, he and his family will attend Sonakshi's wedding reception and clarified that it is not her wedding on that day. This sparked our interest as Shatrughan Sinha skipped talking about the wedding but emphasised more on the reception. So, does this mean that Sonakshi and Zaheer are already married? Shatrughan Sinha's statement read as:
"I thought it best to clue you directly. So quickly, yes my wife and I are very much a part of the celebrations on June 23. It is not the wedding. No, It is not the wedding. It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23."
Moving on, in the same conversation, Shatrughan Sinha revealed that his family matter had been blown out of proportion, and no one from his family ever spoke about the wedding to the media. He agrees that there have been some conflicts going on in his family about the wedding, but everything has now been sorted. In Shatrughan Sinha's words:
"No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter. Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hai. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted."

In the concluding segment of the conversation, Shatrughan Sinha was asked if he was responsible for resolving all the conflicts that had taken place within the family before Sonakshi's wedding. In response, the doting father expressed that his daughter will have everything she wants in her life, and he will make sure of it. He further added:
"Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi mein. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha's daughter, it doesn't mean Sonakshi can't have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot mazza karenge June 23 ko.”
