On August 25, 2024, Masaba Gupta's baby shower was held at Anil Kapoor's residence. The theme of the intimate party was biscuit and caramel. All the guests were dressed in shades of brown, creme, and white. However, just like every time, Sonam Kapoor aced her fashion game in a simple yet chic saree, which she paired with a unique crochet top.

Sonam Kapoor donned a creme-hued crochet top from the shelves of Rajino Pyo, which cost Rs. 46, 600 thousand. The top featured a fall-shoulder design on one side and two tie-up detailing on the back, which held it together. Sonam paired the top with a brown-hued saree from the house of Masaba and completed her look with crochet earrings and hair accessories.

For her glam, Sonam kept it simple with a matte base coupled with a whole lot of blush to highlight her cheekbones. She wore a nude eye look with brown eye-shadow and kohl on the lower lash line. She completed her look with a nude lip shade and tied her hair in a sleek mid-parted bun.

Sonam Kapoor's mehendi lehenga took 18 months to prepare

Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, on their IG handle, shared a video showcasing the creation of the enchanting lehenga that adorned Sonam Kapoor during her pre-wedding festivities. The chikankari embroidered lehenga, a labor of love, was intricately designed with zardosi, crystals, stones, and beads, and Sonam radiated princess-like charm in the ensemble. AJSK's post revealed that the chikankari lehenga, a testament to dedication and passion, took a remarkable 18 months to be perfected. 

Sonam Kapoor was dolled up in an ivory AJSK lehenga for her mehendi. The backless choli was golden and had intricate embellishments. The actress' lehenga had several motifs-design made with golden zardozi and embroidered with crystals. She wore a matching chikankari dupatta with golden borders and looked like a dream for the ceremony.
