Pyaar Ka Punchnama actress, Sonnalli Seygall has been enjoying a blissful marital life with her husband, Ashesh L Sajnani. Every now and then, the lovebirds drop glimpses of their life, and it is simply unmissable. For the unversed, Sonnalli and Ashesh exchanged vows on June 7, 2023, in an intimate wedding ceremony. And now, as the newly-married couple celebrated their first Ganpati puja together, the actress expressed her happiness about the same.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sonnalli Seygall opened up about her first Ganpati celebration post her wedding. Talking about the same, the actress stated that she and her husband, Ashesh have been welcoming Ganpati Bappa to their home for the past seven years, however, this year is special. Elaborating more about it, she said:

"I have been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with Ashish for the past six or seven years. However, this year was extra special because I was officially doing all the rituals with him. It was very nice and beautiful."

In the same conversation, Sonnalli stated that this was the first year when she and Ashesh performed aarti together. Adding that they both have a lot of faith in Lord Ganesha, the actress mentioned that their Ganpati celebration witnessed a blend of cultures. In her words:
"Though for the last three years, it felt like we were married, but we never did aarti together. So, this year was the first time we did aarti together, and also performed visarjan together. We both are big believers of Lord Ganesha, and are in sync with the thoughts. They do Marathi chants at home as most of his staff is from Maharashtra, and I do Hindi chants because I am not fluent in Marathi."
Sonnalli also stated that only her and Ashesh's family members were part of the celebration. She also revealed how she added a personal touch to the food by adding each dish from Punjabi and Sindhi cuisine. The actress added that before her marriage, she used to arrive at Ashesh's house a day prior to look after the arrangements for the celebration. Sonnalli mentioned that this year, she did everything from scratch and she will always cherish these memories.

On 19 September, 2023, Sonnalli had taken to her IG handle and dropped a series of glimpses from her Ganpati celebration. For the special day, the actress opted for a pink-coloured printed kurta, featuring embellishments with sitara, gotta and thread embroidery. She teamed it with an embroidered green pyjama and a pink dupatta. She accentuated her look with gold earrings, dewy makeup and a bun. On the other hand, her husband, Ashesh looked handsome in a coral pink kurta and white pyjama.

For her wedding day, Sonnalli ditched heavy lehengas and opted for a subtle saree. She looked beautiful as she donned a light pink-coloured chiffon saree from the shelves of ace designer, Manish Malhotra. Her saree featured floral thread embroidery and tiny beads. The then-to-be bride styled her saree with a matching full-sleeve blouse, a sheer veil, diamond and emerald jewellery, dewy makeup and a sleek bun. On the other hand, Ashesh complemented Sonnalli in an ivory-hued bandhgala suit.
