Sonnalli Seygall and her husband, Ashesh L Sajnani got married last year, and it was on November 27, 2024, when the couple hopped onto another phase of their life: parenthood. Taking to her IG handle, Sonnalli announced the arrival of her baby girl. In a recent interview, Sonnalli talked about the new phase of her life, which is all things adorable.
In a recent interview with Indian Express' Screen, Sonnalli Seygall talked about her motherhood journey. The actress added that things have changed, and now, if she thinks about taking a shower at 8 am, she finally gets able to do it at 4 pm, but looking at her baby's eyes makes it all worth it. The actress further added that she's sure that things will start getting better with her daughter growing up. Sonnalli mentioned that she surely is going through sleepless nights. Even though, her baby is peaceful and doesn't trouble her much, she can't avoid her duties as a newbie mom, and she has to get up every two hours and feed her baby. Sharing how the last month of pregnancy prepares moms for this phase, Sonnalli stated:
"I really feel that the last month of pregnancy prepares you for this, because you are anyway having sleepless night in the eighth and ninth month because of the frequent washroom breaks. By the time you have a baby in your hand, you are used to that routine anyway. So, I am awake the whole night. I only sleep for 2-3 hours, and then I wake up again. When I finally wake up in the morning, it doesn’t feel like a good morning, more like an extension of the night only.”
Sonnalli Seygall further mentioned that she was astonished about the fact that how much motherhood can push someone to an extensive limit that their old selves remain surprised, thinking she was capable of doing it. The actress stated that she remained surprised, seeing that she could actually put someone else before her. Stating that it has been pretty, Sonnalli shared:
"It is really nice to see the capability of a woman’s body and mind and how much motherhood can push your limits in a good way! You can see the difference and say, ‘Oh My God, I was really capable of this.’ The biggest change I have seen is that I am really able to put myself second, after someone. That’s pretty amazing."
In the same interview, Sonnalli Seygall revealed that she's trying to be a hands-on mom for her baby girl. She further added that she didn't hire any nanny and has been doing all the baby duties all by herself from changing diapers to massaging and bathing her. The newbie mom further shared that it is important to do all these things, as it makes the mom connected to the baby. She mentioned:
"I am trying to be a hands on mother. I want to do everything myself. From changing diapers to massaging and bathing, I am doing everything myself. I haven’t kept any maalishwaali. I think its really important to do everything yourself and stay connected to the baby.”
It was on November 27, 2024, when Sonnalli Seygall gave birth to her baby girl. A video from the hospital made rounds on social media, wherein Sonnalli's husband could be seen dancing in joy, while in the background, the little one's crying voice could be heard. On December 1, 2024, Sonnalli took to her IG and shared the first post with her baby girl to reveal her cutesy name, Shukar.
