Bollywood actor, Sonu Sood is ageing like a fine wine. His dedication towards fitness and living a healthy lifestyle is unmatched. In an interview, he recently revealed how Salman Khan tried his level best to spike the actor's drink. Sonu is a teetotaler, and once 'Bhaijaan' tried to make the actor drink alcohol.
During an interview with Jist, Sonu shared an anecdote about when his close friend, Salman, once tried an antic of spiking his Red Bull drink. Sonu who is busy promoting his next action thriller, Fateh has always maintained a healthy and balanced lifestyle. He shared that despite being surrounded by peers who drink, he had never tasted a sip of alcohol in his entire life. The actor shared that Salman had many times tried to make the actor try the hard drink. He was interested in it. In Sonu's words:
"I don’t drink at all. Many co-stars have tried to make me try alcohol, and Salman bhai was particularly keen on it. He used to say, ‘Ek kaam kar, zara Red Bull ke andar daal ke laa thodi."
Sonu shared that Salman, in a cunning manner, would give him the alcohol glass that was mixed in an energy drink with the hope that the actor would drink the same. However, Sonu was very smart and knew how to avoid the same.
In the same interview, Sonu revealed that he consumed vegetarian food and that his daily meals were filled with nutrition and were also simple. He liked to eat dal and rice, egg-white omelets, salads, and sautéed vegetables. However, he occasionally loved makki ki roti and revealed the importance of maintaining a consistent and healthy lifestyle. Sonu also added:
"My diet is very boring. Whenever someone comes home, they say that I eat hospital food at home. I tell them that this is my plate, you eat whatever you want. Besides me, everyone eats non-vegetarian food, sabke liye acha khaana banta hai. We have the best of cooks.”
The actor created a ruckus in his antagonist role as, 'Chhedi Singh' in Dabangg. However, he did not essay the role of 'Chhedi Singh's brother in Salman's Dabangg 2. During a conversation with Humans Of Bombay, Sonu revealed that Arbaaz and Salman whom he considers good friends had asked him to play the role of 'Chhedi's' brother. Sonu said:

"Salman and Arbaaz are like my family. So they called me again to play the role of Chhedi Singh’s brother, but I rejected the role. Somehow the role didn’t excite me. Salman and Arbaaz were very sweet, and they told me to do it. But I told them, 'Mujhe excitement nahi aa raha, yeh role ko le kar. Toh main kaise kar paunga."
