A wedding is not just a union of two souls; it's also about uniting two sides of the family. It's a big step for a girl as she marks a more significant journey of her life being a wife, a daughter-in-law and later a mother. But before that, every girl has a dream wedding in their imagination, which they wish to turn into reality. That can be a dream outfit, a destination wedding, some special theme-based ceremonies, and the list can go on! However, the only thing a bride remains worried about is what outfit and jewellery she will be wearing on her special day.
Over the years, the time has changed, and modern brides are trying to embed stylish and trendy details on their outfits, jewellery pieces, makeup, and hairdo. But there are a few brides who trust their original roots and channel their inner royalty through their wedding lookbook. With coming out of age, brides are opting for designer couture even more, and when you hear the words 'fashion designer', Manish Malhotra is a name that definitely comes to your mind! With his blingy outfits, sequinned detailing and the best craftsmanship, he has etched a special place in our hearts.

Recently, we came across a bride named Anjana Suresh from South India, who stayed true to her cultural roots and incorporated a modern touch to her wedding look, creating a royal vibe. She had opted for a Manish Malhotra piece to turn everyone's head at her wedding, and her then groom-to-be had also complemented her in a gorgeous wedding couture from Manish Malhotra's collection.
The bride, Anjana, had draped a red and golden brocade Kanjivaram saree embroidered with golden zari and resham on a green-coloured velvet hemline. The bride had chosen a minimalistic saree with a broad embellished edge and had paired this customised saree with a gorgeous golden blouse with a self-embroidered pattern. The hemline of the blouse was emblemed with pearls, which enhanced the whole look. As Anjana had donned a minimalistic saree, she had opted for over-the-top jewellery pieces. She had worn diamond sets in white gold, including red and green-coloured stone embellished layered neckpiece, along with a broad choker necklace, a pair of big danglers, a maang teeka and kadas with bangles.

But, what caught our attention was the gorgeous ruby stone-studded kamarbandhan (waistband). That belt had changed the whole look of the bride. For her makeup, Anjana had decided to keep it regal. She had completed her look with high-defined brows, smokey kohled eyes, curled up lashes, blushed cheeks and red lips. She had pulled her hair in a sleek puffed up bridal bun and had decorated it with roses and floral carnations, giving an edge to her look.
On the other hand, the groom had looked absolutely dapper in Manish Malhotra's creation. He had complemented his then bride-to-be in every sense. The groom had charmingly donned a textured ivory-coloured kurta embellished with gold and metallic thread work in floral patterns. He had paired it with tussar silk textured dhoti embroidered with the same designs at the hemline. This Manish Malhotra groom had completed his look with a doshala emblemed with red silk accents and floral embroidery, which had enhanced the look even more. The couple had posed on a beautiful backdrop of rose and floral decor and had looked picture-perfect from every corner!
