Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are back with their horror-comedy, Stree 2, after the success of the first film, Stree, which was released in 2018. Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik, received much praise from the critics and audience and grossed over Rs. 180 crore at the box office against a budget of Rs. 23–25 crore, becoming a box office success.
Meanwhile, Stree 2, which hit the theatres on August 15, 2024, has also received positive reviews, with some even tagging it as 'superhit'. The film stars the OGs Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana and has a few cameo appearances. Abhishek Banerjee, who is most popular for his roles in Bhediya, Paatal Lok and Mirzapur, plays 'Jana', 'Vicky's friend in Amar Kaushik's film, Stree 2. According to a report by Filmibeat, the 39-year-old actor has bagged a cheque of Rs. 55 lakh for his role in the sequel.
Aparshakti Khurana, brother of the popular Bollywood actor-turned-singer, Ayushmann Khurrana, plays one of the buddies of the main character, 'Vicky', is reportedly getting Rs. 70 lakh for the supernatural horror comedy. The multi-hyphenated personality is playing the role of 'Bittu' in Stree 2.
Over the years, Pankaj Tripathi has emerged as one of the most versatile and talented actors in the Hindi film industry. After making the audience giggle with his comic timing in Stree, the 47-year-old actor is once again back with his character 'Rudra Bhaiya', a paranologist, in Stree 2. He is reportedly getting Rs. 3 crore for his stint in the film.

Shraddha Kapoor, the leading lady in Stree 2, is the only character in the film without a name. Her name was not even revealed in the first instalment of the supernatural horror comedy. Shraddha, who steps in to help the male lead and his gang of friends in fighting 'Stree', has reportedly received a hefty paycheck of Rs. 5 crore.
Rajkummar Rao, who plays the role of a lady's tailor, 'Vicky', a.k.a. the saviour of Chanderi, in Amar Kaushik's Stree 2, is the highest-paid amongst the lead cast. If reports are to be believed, the 39-year-old actor got a whopping paycheck of Rs. 6 crore for his role.
Apart from the lead cast, Stree 2 has a few cameo appearances. As per reports, Tamannah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar are a part of the sequel of Stree. A report by Mashable India states that Varun has been paid Rs. 2 crore for his cameo. However, Akshay and Tamannah's fees are not known yet.
