The renowned Indian author, social worker, and philanthropist, Sudha Murty, is leading all the headlines after appearing on the famous celebrity comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. During her appearance on the show, she shared a lot of hidden truths and incidents about her personal and professional life. From opening up about her childhood days to sharing anecdotes of her happy married life with Narayana Murty, she is currently the lady of the moment.
In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, the show’s host, Kapil Sharma welcomed the renowned author and philanthropist, Sudha Murty, along with Raveena Tandon and Guneet Monga, on his show. During a segment of the show, Sudha opened up about her love story with her husband, Narayana Murty. The doting wife recalled the incident when her husband told her that he had decided to start his own company, Infosys and would not work for 3 years and told her to work and run their family. She said:

"He (Narayana Murty) started Infosys in 1981. We were living in a rented apartment in Bandra, Mumbai then. He said, you go and earn for the family, and also support me."

Further in her revelation, Sudha Murty shared how they didn’t have any financial support, and it was almost impossible for them to even think of starting a company. However, the doting wife had saved Rs. 10,250 and out of which she gave Rs. 10,000 to her husband, who was worried about the arrangement of money to start his company, Infosys.
"I had saved Rs 10,250 without his knowledge, and I gave him Rs 10K and saved the rest for emergency."
Recalling the same, Sudha admitted that showing trust in her husband’s dreams was her biggest investment and admitted that Narayana Murty repaid her trust and investment of Rs. 10,000 in billions. Calling it the best investment of her life, Sudha lauded the efforts of her husband, Narayana, to make Infosys one of the largest and most prominent IT services companies in India. She said:
"I think it was the best investment as that Rs 10,000 returned in billions."

For the unversed, Sudha Murty was born in 1950 and is known for her diverse body of work, including novels, children's books, and short stories. She also played a vital role in establishing the Infosys Foundation, where she serves as the chairperson. Not only this, but the 72-year-old lady also travels extensively, delivering lectures and inspiring audiences with her experiences and insights. Sudha and Narayana Murty got married on February 10, 1978. Talking about their children, they have two children, Akshata and Rohan.
