The author is currently leading all the headlines after she made a remark that it is her daughter, who made her husband, Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of UK.
In a video doing rounds on social media, Sudha Murthy claimed that it is her daughter, Akshata Murthy, who made her husband, Rishi Sunak the Prime Minister of the UK. Rishi Sunak is the youngest PM of the UK, and his ascension to power has been highlighted earlier as well. And now, Sudha’s claims have again brought Rishi into the limelight. Talking about her statement, the author said:

“I made my husband a businessman. My daughter made her husband the Prime Minister of the UK. The reason is the glory of the wife. See how a wife can change a husband. But I could not change my husband. I made my husband a businessman, and my daughter made her husband a Prime Minister.”

It was in 2009 when Rishi Sunak got married to Akshata Murthy, daughter of Indian multi-billionaire and the Founder of Infosys, N.R. Narayana Murthy. The couple is blessed with two daughters, Krishna Sunak and Anoushka Sunak.

However, she was still reportedly paying 30,000 pounds per year in order to maintain her non-domicile status in the UK, so that she doesn’t pay taxes on her income.
