Shah Rukh Khan is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, along with actress, Juhi Chawla, her husband, Jay Mehta, and Red Chillies Entertainment. As the Coronavirus pandemic has shut down all the businesses, IPL 2020 had also been postponed until further notice so that social distancing can be maintained in a proper manner. Recently, Shah Rukh opened up on Star Sports show, Cricket Connected and revealed how he was going to jump from the balcony after KKR won the IPL for the first time in 2012, and it was his daughter, Suhana Khan, who caught him.

During the interview on Star Sports show, Cricket Connected, Shah Rukh Khan recalled the winning moment and said, "I was just hanging there, waving my arms from my balcony. So, when we won it, it was a vindication of belief because a lot of people started telling me to sell the team, which I never would. And I don’t say that out of evil, I said it out of belief and confidence." He then recalled the incident when he was going to jump from the balcony out of excitement. He added, “Actually, the first match we won, I was going to jump from my balcony, but I think my kids, I think it was my daughter (Suhana) who caught me. I could have flown that night, but I settled at home.”
SRK also revealed how he never gave the epic Chak De! India “70-minute” pep talk to his team, Kolkata Knight Riders before any match. The actor said, “I have been a sportsman all my life at a very small level, so I have never really given them some Chak De! India kind of lectures. I have never done that.” (Recommended Read: Arbaaz Khan's Girlfriend, Giorgia Adriani Ignited Her Inner 'Billu Barber' For Him In Quarantine)
