Sunny Deol is one of the most handsome and fit actors of his generation. The desi Punjabi munda is hailed for his healthy and hearty lifestyle, which he proudly flaunts as a result of conscious eating and regular workouts. Moreover, the actor has strictly abstained from consuming alcohol and drugs from the very beginning, and has credited his fitness to his own hard work and efforts. Apart from his physique, he is also known for his incomparable acting mettle, which can give any other young actor a run for their money.
During a promotional interview with IMDB, for his upcoming film, Gadar 2, Sunny Deol was asked to share one valuable advice for the younger generation of actors. To this, the 65-year-old superstar gave a witty response and mentioned that the newcomers must learn to focus on their acting skills, rather than just build a muscular physique and improve their dance skills. In his words:
“Stop bodybuilding and dancing. Concentrate on acting. You have the talent, take it ahead because that's what we need. We are not bodybuilders. You should be fit, strong, and healthy - and definitely music is something which is a part of our culture. I know you all have seen my earlier films, and so many earlier actors, plus there are quite a few new ones who are doing great work. Let them be your heroes rather than people who are simply muscling around.”

In one of his earlier interviews with Puja Talwar, Sunny opened up about his experience of seeing people fake their love and concern, but actually end up not at all being helpful when needed. Sharing a similar anecdote, Sunny mentioned that back in the days when he knocked on all doors to seek help while launching his younger brother, Bobby Deol, nobody was willing to help him, despite faking their reverence for him. He mentioned:
“I remember going to all the directors even when I was launching Bobby, nobody was willing to join hands with us. Everybody comes and hugs you and meets you like they love you so much but all of that is fake. So many people call me paaji, I say, don’t call me paaji because you don’t understand the meaning of paaji. There is a respect for an older brother.”
In yet another of his promotional interview in Aaj Tak’s show, Seedhi Baat, Sunny was asked to share his reaction to the frequent number of drug abuse cases emerging from the Hindi film industry itself. In his reaction, Sunny defended such allegations and mentioned how cases of drug abuse do not concern the industry from where it emerged, but from the people who are a part of it. He also added how people only make a big deal out of it when it comes to Bollywood, since it gets too much media coverage.
