Sunny Deol is one of the famous actors in Bollywood. The actor never fails to mesmerise his fans with his jaw-dropping acting mettle. Sunny was last seen in the movie, Gadar 2, for which he has been basking in glory. However, the actor is currently in seventh heaven as his younger son, Rajveer made his debut with the film, Dono. However, in a recent interview, Sunny revealed that one piece of advice that he gave his son, Rajveer, for his acting career.
In a conversation with Lallantop, Sunny Deol was asked about that one piece of advice that he received from Dharmendra and then passed on to his son, Rajveer, who recently made his debut. To this, the actor mentioned that he advised his son to follow his heart in whatever he does and love it. Sunny further added that film is not at all commercial for them rather, it's an art. Sunny said:
"I gave him the advice that my father gave me, ‘Whatever you do, do it from your heart and do what you love.’ We take films as an art and not look at them commercially. What is a star? If your film works, you are a star."

Talking more about the same, Sunny Deol stated that if anyone's film works, then he is a star, which he is actually seeing in his son. Heaping praise on his son, Sunny said that his sons are putting in effort and working hard, and their characters are doing well on the screen. Elaborating more on the same, Sunny mentioned that when he and both of his sons sit to discuss films, they end up talking about interesting characters. Sunny mentioned:
"And I am seeing the same behavior in my kids. They are putting effort into playing their characters well and even when we sit to discuss films, we talk about interesting characters.”
The same interview was attended by Sunny Deol's son, Rajveer Deol. The newbie star of Bollywood revealed that he is a bit scared of his papa, Sunny Deol's on-screen persona. Revealing why, Rajveer said that there's honesty in his blood when he is working. For instance, when Sunny yells at someone for revenge, it can make anyone feel and want to do the same. Elaborating more on the same, Rajveer stated:
"There’s a specialty with Dad that I don’t think anyone else can do. There’s honesty in his bones and blood. When he screams at someone and wants to get revenge, you feel it. You want to do it yourself. I used to feel bad for all the villains. I used to see dad get angry (in films) and would know what was to come. I would be like, ‘Oh poor guys, don’t do this!’ I was very scared of that.”

In the same interview, Sunny Deol opened up about the ongoing debate in Bollywood, nepotism. The actor asked if a father won't do anything to secure his kids' future, who would? He further added that these words are mainly used by those who couldn't achieve success in their lives, so they keep using such words to vent their frustration. Sunny also mentioned that no matter what, everyone has to do hard work to carve their place in the industry.

Earlier, during the promotional event of his then-upcoming film, Dono, Rajveer Deol stated that his parents first didn't like his decision to join showbiz. Talking about the reason behind the same, Sunny shared that as the entertainment field is a bit unpredictable, his parents didn't want him to join the industry in the first place.
