After Sushant Singh Rajput, CBI Says Disha Salian Died Due To Father's Affair, Was Deeply Disturbed

Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian, made headlines when he gave an explosive statement about his daughter's death. He urged to reopen his daughter's death case, which was closed by claiming it to be a suicide, and he asked to investigate Aditya Thackeray, son of Udhhav Thackeray. Now, the CBI closed the case by calling it a suicide but gave another shocking insight into it.

CBI claimed Disha Salian's father, Satish Salian's affair with a colleague made her commit suicide

Satish Salian claimed that his daughter, Disha Salian's death, was linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious demise. As per a report by Mid-Day, CBI ruled out any foul play in Disha's case and claimed that she was upset as two of her projects were stalled. Another shocking fact was that Disha was stressed due to her father, Satish, who was having an affair with a female colleague at his spice manufacturing unit. 

The report claims that the money Disha had given to her father for his business was being spent on his affair. This left Disha deeply disturbed. Talking about her death cause, a previous postmortem conducted on Disha revealed that she withstood no assault before her death. Her cause of death was a severe head injury as she fell from the 14th floor. 

When Aditya Thackeray reacted to the allegations against him filed by Disha Salian's father

A day after, Satish Salian, father of Disha Salian, moved to the Bombay High Court seeking a fresh investigation regarding her death. Aditya Thackeray reacted to the allegation, and claimed that there was no substance in the charges filed against him. He added that they have been attempting to malign his image for the past five years. Thackeray was quoted as saying:

"There is no substance in the charges…the matter is in the court…let them go to court. I am telling them that it would boomerang on them. For the last five years they have been trying to defame me. They stand exposed on all counts…the matter is in the court…I will respond in the court."

Disha Salian's father's allegations

For the unversed, Disha Salian died under mysterious circumstances five days before Sushant Singh Rajput's body was found at his rented duplex flat in Bandra. When the incident took place, Maharashtra was being ruled by Udhav Thackeray. Mr. Salian claimed that his daughter had been raped and murdered. Not only this, Mr Salian further revealed that it is an attempt to protect a certain influential person. He said:

"Looking at the investigation, I think it was a murder. There were no injuries that should occur when a body falls from such a height. We should notice how there were no injuries on her body after falling from such a height and how it was so clean."

It was on June 8, 2020, when reports claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput's then-recently appointed manager fell from the 14th floor of a residential building in Malad. While initially, the police registered an Accidental Death Report. However, six days later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment. Reports started doing rounds claiming Sushant committed suicide, but later it was ruled out, and fans linked Disha's mysterious death with SSR's.
