Little did we know that somewhere far away, a brilliant actor, an amazing human being and a highly intellectual individual, was also pleading to his pain, to 'let-go' of him. As he can't deal with it anymore! The entire nation had gone into a state of utter shock and disbelief when the news of Sushant Singh Rajput, a commercially successful as well as a critically acclaimed actor's suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020, had come out. Being his fans, we are finding it hard to digest the news until now, imagine the plight of his family! A self-made actor, with no godfather in the industry whatsoever, Sushant had won millions of hearts in the short span of a decade. One of the iconic roles that had gotten him the recognition of his sheer expertise as an actor is starring as the legend, MS Dhoni in his biopic. Which, to this date holds the record of most successful sports biopic of the industry. How can such a lively person be so fed up of life, that he would end his! The sane question is haunting his family and just in we got another devastating news that his sister-in-law has passed away during his final rites, unable to bear the news of Sushant's demise.

According to reports published in the Times of India, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister-in-law, Sudha Devi, unable to bear the news of his demise, passed away in Purnia, Bihar, while Sushant's last rites were still in procession. Sudha took her last breath during Sushant's funeral, which took place at Vile Parle, Mumbai. It has been said that she was deeply saddened and morsed by the devastating news and had stopped eating altogether. We can only imagine the kind of trauma Suhshant's family must be going through at this time. May God give strength to his family to go through these testing times.
Sushant Singh Rajput's mortal remains were put to rest on June 15, 2020, at the Pawan Hans Crematorium at Vile Parle in Mumbai. A lot of friends and acquaintances from the Bollywood industry were in attendance at his funeral. Some of the names include Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vivek Oberoi, Rajkumar Rao, Rhea Chakraborty Ranveer Shauri, Mukesh Chhabra and a lot more. The official statement released by his family after his untimely demise can be read as "It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life and his work like they have done so far. We request the media to help us maintain privacy at this moment of grief."
