Sushmita Sen is soon going to portray the role of a transgender in her upcoming web series, Taali, which will stream on Jio Cinema. While fans are already in love with the trailer of the show, Sushmita Sen proudly revealed how her elder daughter, Renee Sen gave her voice to the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra in the film, Taali. Sushmita looked super happy as she penned an emotional note.
On August 9, 2023, Sushmita took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture of her daughter, Renee with the voiceover of Mahamrityunjaya mantra in the background. Alongside it, Sushmita penned a heartfelt note and introduced Renee as the voice behind the powerful mantra in the film, Taali. She expressed her joy and revealed how her life has come a full circle. She wrote:
"Life comes a full circle! My baby girl @reneesen47 graces her voice to rendering this powerful Mahamrityunjaya mantra. Her voice & my face…together in the trailer of Taali. I of course have goosebumps every time I listen to it! Thank you Shona, for choosing to be a part of this very special Tribute…and for doing it with so much love! You make me proud! Thank you all for the avalanche of love & inclusion with which you have received #Taali I am truly overwhelmed, to say the least!!! A big shout out to Shree Gaurisawant and our Transgender community for keeping the faith with so much courage! I love you guys!!!

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Sushmita Sen revealed how her daughters' reacted to her playing the role of a transgender in a web series. Sushmita shared that she doesn't need to ask her daughter for an opinion as she gets one whether she asks or not. Sushmita shared that her daughters jumped with excitement after knowing it.
However, it was Sushmita's elder daughter, Renee, who was a little worried, and gave her a tension on how she would be pulling it off. Sushmita was quoted as saying:
"I don't have to ask for an opinion, I get one whether I ask for it or not. That is the new generation, and that is Renee and surprisingly Alisah, who is going to turn 14. So, when both of them heard that I am going to do Taali, they jumped, and then my elder one Renee was worried. She was like, 'But how are you going to pull it off. Because mumma I am thinking I have seen a man play a transgender before but I have never seen a woman play a transgender.'"

Sushmita added that she was shocked and thought that please don't add more stress to it, as she wasn't thinking about how a woman can pull off a transgender role. And she was only thinking of it as a lifetime opportunity. She added that Renee also gave her a solid input, which was about people's opinions and what Instagram would think.
