Late actor, Irrfan Khan had etched a special place in our hearts with his mind-blowing versatile acting prowess in films like Maqbool, The Namesake, Piku, The Lunchbox, and many more. Today, his movie, Qarib Qarib Singlle, marks its 4th anniversary, and one of his posts surfaced on the internet, on which his wife, Sutapa, penned down her feelings.
Irrfan and Sutapa had a beautiful bond with each other. They are blessed with two sons, Babil and Ayaan. Babil is gearing up for stepping into Bollywood industry. For the unversed, Irrfan Khan was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour, and last year in 2020, he had taken his last breath and had left this mortal place to take up his journey to heaven. The Hindi film industry still misses his presence.

As Qarib Qarib Singlle is celebrating its four years, Sutapa took to her Facebook profile to reshare late actor, Irrfan Khan's post with a caption, "The love keeps coming in". Atop of it, she recalled how her late husband always wanted to recite Sahir Saab's poem, Tum Hoti Toh. In her words:
"When the sleep disorder still continues even after one and a half year. And FB opens the flood gate of memory a new one each day and Sahir Saab says 'Tum Hoti Toh Aisa Hota' as Irrfan really wanted to recite this poetry once somewhere."

She further added to the caption of the post that Irrfan loved Amitabh Bachchan's voice while reciting the poem, Tum Hoti Toh Aisa Hota. She concluded by saying:
“Bachchan Saab's iconic voice had travelled many a times in student days and Irrfan used to marvel at it but twenty five years later Sahir Saab took the lead in Fandom over Bachchan Saab and Irrfan in those late night conversations would say ‘Yaar muzhe bolna tha yeh… ekbaar (I really want to recite this… once)’ but some journey's abruptly stop. And leave you #qaribqaribsinglle Kuch log itne qareeb hote hain ki unke bina bhi woh zindagi mein qareeb hi rehte hain (Some people are so close to you, they remain around you, even when they are not)#irrfan.”
Even after a year and a half, the void that has been created after his demise is still there, and we miss the marvellous actor, Irrfan Khan, dearly!
