Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are soon going to get married on June 23, 2024. The duo didn't confirm or accept the same, but they seemingly dropped glimpses from their bachelor party. While some users are eagerly waiting to witness the duo as bride and groom, others started taking a dig at them by bringing up the topic of 'interfaith marriage'. Recently, Swara Bhasker reacted to the hate comments that Sonakshi and Zaheer have been receiving.
In a recent interview with Connect Cine, Swara Bhasker stated that in modern India, what is now the biggest myth is 'love jihad', wherein a Hindu girl marries a Muslim boy. She also talked about the number of trolls that she has received for her marriage to Fahad Ahmad. The actress stated that no third person can come and throw comment on the decision of the consenting adults, and it's between the man and woman, and their families. Swara said that Sonakshi and Zaheer chose one another to spend the rest of their lives together, so the debate around the couple is nothing but a waste of time. Swara said:
"Lots of experts offered their opinions during my wedding as well. But we’re talking about two consenting adults here. What they do in their private lives, whether they get married or not, it’s up to them. It’s nobody’s business if they’re living together, getting married in a court, or having a nikaah, or an Arya Samaj wedding. It’s between the man and the woman, and their families. It’s Sonakshi’s life; she’s chosen her partner. Her partner has chosen her. Now it’s between them and their families. I find this a very time-wasting debate.”

Swara Bhasker, in the same interview, also predicted that even after getting married, there will be a fresh new controversy when Sonakshi and Zaheer will have their kids. The actress said that people may come up and question the duo about their children's names. For the unversed, the same happened with Kareena and Saif when they named their firstborn 'Taimur'. Tagging these problematic behaviour as 'idiotic', Swara stated:
"Wait and watch, when they have a child, there will be a separate debate around the child’s name. We’ve seen it happen with Kareena and Saif’s kids, and with my kid. It’s completely idiotic, but this isn’t going to end anytime soon.”
For the unversed, Swara Bhakser got married to the love of her life, Fawad Ahmad back in January 2023 in a court marriage under the Special Marriage Act. After that, in March 2023, they renewed their wedding vows following all the wedding rituals. It was a few months after her wedding that, in June 2023, Swara announced her pregnancy.
The 'good news' also brought along some mean comments, as people stated that marriage was due to the actress' pregnancy. However, Swara and Fawad didn't pay any kind of attention to these trolls. On September 2023, the couple welcomed their princess, Raabiyaa, and she recently revealed her cutesy face on social media, leaving all in awe.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been speculated to be dating one another for a long time, but they never accepted the same and tagged each other as their 'BFFs'. However, the duo is speculated to get married on June 23, 2024. It was also reported that Shatrughan Sinha was upset with his daughter's wedding. Sonakshi has yet to comment on this.
