Since Taapsee Pannu already holds a repo for dodging personal questions fired by the paparazzi like a pro, they resorted to an alternate way to sniff gossip! Ever since Taapsee Pannu had confirmed being in a relationship with badminton player, Mathias Boe, speculations of a plausible marriage were rife in the air, and Taapsee, being Taapsee had kept her lips sealed about the whole charade. Now, her mom has spilt some beans about their marriage plans, in an interview with SpotboyE. According to her Taapsee is in no pressure to get married from their side, and the final decision rests with her. To quote her words, "There's no pressure on her to get married. I do talk about it sometimes, but even I don't believe in the institution of marriage much. So it's up to her when she wants to do it."
Taapsee also added, "I have told you, there's been no pressure at all. My parents have just told me that they would like to see me married eventually. But it's never been abhi karna hai nahin toh yeh ho jayega ya woh ho jayega." After making her relationship official, in conversation with Pinkvilla, Taapsee had said, "I don’t want to hide anything from anyone. I’m very proud to accept the presence of someone in my life. But yes, at the same time, I wouldn’t only talk about it for the headlines because then it takes away from my credibility as an actor and what I have achieved in all these years by working hard. That I can’t afford to do.." (You May Also Like: Karan Johar's Kids, Yash And Roohi Want Their Daddy To Remove His Clothes And Take A Shower)
She had further said, "There’s someone in my life and my family knows about it. It’s very important for me that my family - including my sister and my parents - they like the person who I’m with. Else it won’t work for me. I remember joking about it and telling someone, ‘Agar mummy papa nahi maane, toh mujhe nahi lagta kuch ho sakta hai’ (If my parents don’t agree, I don’t think this relationship has a future)." Very few know that it was Taapsee's sister, Shagun who had played Cupid in her love story. It was because of Shagun that Taapsee had met Mathias. Talking about the same, Shagun had said, "Now, she may have got lucky. Taapsee must thank me because it was because of me that she met him. Honestly, apart from him and another guy who I liked, but I don’t know where from Taapsee finds these weird guys. First of all, they are so ugly." To which, Taapsee had quickly retorted, "I have kissed a lot of frogs before meeting my prince."
