Taapsee Pannu is an Indian actress who made her debut in the acting world in 2010 with the Telugu film, Jhummandi Naadam after a brief stint in modelling. She works predominantly in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films and has been lauded for her powerful roles in the Hindi spy thriller, Baby and courtroom drama, Pink.
Taapsee Pannu recently sat for a chat with Agenda Aaj Tak 2024. The actress there revealed that she married her longtime boyfriend-badminton player, Mathias Boe, in 2023. For those who are not aware, it was alleged that Taapsee had tied the knot with her boyfriend, Mathias, in early 2024. However, the actress shared that she had a court marriage with Mathias in December 2023.
Talking about her intimate wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan, earlier in March 2024. Taapsee revealed that people were not aware of her wedding because she had not announced it to the public. Instead, they had a court marriage in December 2023. She stated:
"People were unaware of my wedding this year as we didn't make a formal announcement. In fact, we got married in December of last year. Our wedding anniversary is coming soon. We simply signed the papers then. If I hadn't mentioned it today, no one would have known."
Taapsee Pannu has always maintained a distinctive line between her personal and professional life. She shared that she had observed that overexposing her love life could create issues in both her personal and professional life, hence why she decided it was wise to maintain those boundaries. She said:
"We wanted to maintain a clear distinction between our personal and professional lives. I've observed that excessive exposure to personal life and professional life can negatively impact both spheres. The successes and failures of one's career often spill over into personal life, causing unnecessary stress. I've always strived to maintain a balance between the two."
Taapsee Pannu married her long-term partner, Mathias Boe, in a traditional ceremony on March 23, 2024. Their close friends and family attended the wedding. The list of guests included Anurag Kashyap, Kanika Dhillon, and Pavail Gulati, among other celebrities who were part of her big day. Taapsee dated Mathias for about a decade and has often talked about their relationship in interviews and on social media.

In January 2023, Taapsee Pannu had a chat with Brides Today. She told them that her dream wedding would be a single-day affair with nude themes. She shared that she would like her big day to be basic and drama-free, contrary to her professional life. She also added that she doesn't want any late-night rituals for her wedding. Elaborating on the same, Taapsee had stated:
"A single-day wedding affair in tasteful nude and other subtle colours. It needs to be basic and drama-free because there is enough drama in my professional life, and I don’t want it to trickle down into my personal life."
