In his latest interview, Ghanshyam Nayak has talked about his battle with cancer and opened up about his medical condition at the moment. His son, Vikas Nayak, shared his views about his father's fight against cancer and revealed some major details about his tests. The prayers for the actor's recovery are coming from across the nation.
In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Ghanshyam Nayak revealed that he had restarted his chemotherapy after discovering new knots on his neck. The actor has undergone a surgery to remove eight knots on his neck a few months ago, but the knots developed in his neck once again. Confirming the reports, Ghanshyam Nayak said, "My health is fine, but the treatment had to be started again. Currently, I am undergoing chemotherapy sessions."
The veteran actor is showing no signs of fear and is as motivated as ever about his work. Ghanshyam Nayak also stated that after a long gap of four months, he had resumed the shooting of his show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma. The actor is currently in Daman with the whole cast and crew of the sitcom and added that he is working on a special episode. Ghanshyam explained, "It was after four months that I shot a special episode for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in Daman last week. Believe me, I enjoyed a lot."

Talking about his father's mental and physical health at the moment, Ghanshyam Nayak's son, Vikas Nayak, stated that his dad is doing fine at the moment. Still, they'll surely go to the hospital for regular check-ups. He said, "He is not facing any problem, but we did not want to take a risk. We just need to take papa to the hospital once a month for the sessions." The doting son also added that his father's next test to determine the knots on his neck is going to happen in July. Vikas said, "I hope the spots are gone by the time we go for his test again next month."
