Taher Shabbir Enjoys Daddy Duties As He Welcomes Baby Boy With Wife, Shares Their Son's Unique Name

Actor, Taher Shabbir of Naam Shabana fame has stepped into a new phase of his life, and he embraced parenthood with his wife, Akshika Gandhi. Taher Shabbir started his career in entertainment in 2014 when he portrayed the role of Viraj Singh Rathore in Star Plus' show, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. In 2009, Taher was seen in the Bollywood movie, Kurbaan starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, where he had a brief role. In 2016, he made his Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan, in 2017, the actor portrayed the role of Jai in Naam Shabana.

Taher Shabbir enjoys his 'daddy duties' as he embraces fatherhood

Parenthood is one of the most beautiful phases of one's life, and Taher is experiencing the same euphoria. Taher Shabbir shared that he hopped onto parenthood with his wife, Akshita Gandhi, a few days back. Although, the actor is extremely private as a person, he took to his IG account and shared a glimpse of his baby boy. In the photo, the actor held his son's hands as the little one was decked in a white and blue printed dress.

"Every moment with my little one is amazing. I am enjoying my daddy duties and watching my child grow."

In an interaction with the TOI, Taher shared that his father was an exceptional human being and brought him and his siblings up with lots of love and care. Due to this, he wanted to become a dad from a very early age and was thrilled to know that he and Akshita were soon to become parents. Taher further added:

"My father (Shabbir Mithaiwala) showered us with so much love and care, that I always had this secret desire to become a father since the age of 14! I was thrilled when Akshita and I had our baby boy, Adam, a few months ago."

Via his Instagram post, Taher shared the name of his baby boy. Taher revealed that he named his son, 'Adam' and added how his life has only changed for the better after becoming a dad, and he can't wait to explore more of life with his son. Taher added:

"Welcome to our world my darling son ADAM . Life just went to best mode. Aameen."

Taheer Shabbir and Akshita Gandhi's love life

Taher tied the knot with a well-known international artist, Akshita Gandhi, in November 2020. In an earlier interview, he shared that after he met Akshita, the duo instantly connected. He met Akshita during the pandemic via a mutual friend and bonded over art. Both of them were looking to settle down at that moment, so everything felt right with her.
