Ayushmann Khurrana’s love life with his wife, Tahira Kashyap had made us believe that fairy-tale romance still exists in the modern days. Ayushmann and Tahira had entered the marital bliss on November 1, 2008, and are proud parents of two kids, Virajveer and Varushka. The madly-in-love duo had first met each other at a tuition center and instantly fell in love, but couldn’t confess their love for one another at that time. Today, on November 1, 2019, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap have completed 11 years of blissful married life. Tahira took to her Instagram handle to wish her doting husband, Ayushmann on their 11th wedding anniversary by sharing a heartfelt note and an unseen picture from their sangeet and one wedding picture. She captioned the post by writing, “11 years back we had each other’s asses and still do! Happy anniversary @ayushmannk (This one’s from our sangeet and marriage. And I remember my heart was pounding, beating, bouncing 10 times faster and still does though the reasons might have changed! Kidding you still get to me just like before).” Ayushmann too posted an unseen picture of his lovely wife and wished her by writing, “Eleven years with this beautiful girl. Got butterflies of all kinds while posting this picture. Umm. Happy anniversary @tahirakashyap.”
For the unversed, Tahira Kashyap had married Ayushmann when he was still struggling. In an interview with the Mid-Day, the Meri Pyaari Bindu star had shared, “When I got married, I had no money. Tahira has been doing better than me professionally for the longest time. She was gutsy enough to marry a man just for love and have faith in his talent. She is a rockstar; she was a professor, had her own PR firm in Chandigarh. She was also the programming head of a radio station in Punjab. She supported me in every possible way. I was a struggling actor, which is often a gamble. But there was never any ego between us. When there's love, there's no scope for ego. Most men in India aren't secure enough to be comfortable with such an arrangement. It comes with the family. It depends on how your father treats your mother. But a man, no matter where he comes from, could always trigger a change. If it's a patriarchal family, the dynamics are different. In my case, Tahira became the daughter in a household that had none.” (Suggested Read: Mira Rajput Kapoor And Ishaan Khatter's 'Bhabhi-Devar' Love On His Birthday Is Adorable Beyond Words)
Ayushmann Khurrana is on a professional high with back-to-back blockbuster hit movies, but on the other hand, his personal life was going through a rough patch in the past year. His lovely wife, Tahira Kashyap was detected with cancer. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ayushmann had shared what he went through after learning about Tahira’s cancer and how he has started looking at his life in a very different way. He was quoted as saying, "I think I have started looking for life in a different way altogether. I'm happier has a persona, I'm more patient as a person. Small things don't bother me anymore because with an issue like that you have to have a very healthy and happy state of mind because you are also working at the same time, two films were releasing and she was in the hospital.”

While Tahira was undergoing her treatment, Ayushmann was juggling between promoting his films and taking care of his wife. In the same interview, Ayushmann had further revealed, “So, in the morning I used to promote my films and go back to the hospital in the night. I was sleepless for seven nights and seven days. It was not easy but since she was positive, she inspired me a lot. We were also lucky enough as we got to know about it at the early stage that's the silver lining. We decided to keep it positive."
Tahira is now living a cancer-free life and when the duo had heard about the news, they had taken it positively. In an earlier interview with Mid-Day, a calm and composed Ayushmann had stated, “She was diagnosed on my birthday (September 14). We had to maintain a happy life state to deal with it. In fact, after we got to know about her condition, we went to see Manmarziyaan that evening. We told ourselves, ‘Okay, we’ve been diagnosed. We can’t go home and cry about it. It’s better to go for a film.’ So, we watched the film, came back and got the date for her operation."
