Son of veteran actress, Rati Agnihotri and her husband, Anil Virwani, Tanuj Virwani is currently hospitalised after he sustained an injury. For the uninitiated, Tanuj is also a popular actor and was seen in several TV series, including Inside Edge, Code M, Poison, and others. Tanuj was also riding high in his personal life as he got married to the love of his life, Tanya Jacob, in December 2023. Moreover, they are expecting their first child together, as per reports.
Now, Tanuj Virwani has given a health update on his social media handle. His wife, Tanya Jacob took to his IG handle and addressed the reports going viral online regarding his health. She shared a photo of her husband from the hospital room, reportedly clicked after he underwent surgery. The caption along with Tanuj's photo read as:

"It’s been a Pretty Volatile Past 48 hours for us as a Family and we wanted to set the Record straight as there are a Bunch of completely untrue, unsubstantiated stories floating around about the reason why My husband is in Hospital right now. As a lot of you who follow Tanuj are aware, He absolutely loves playing cricket and Sunday night was no different. While Batting he took off for a run and was turning back to acknowledge his Batting Partner when his shoe skid over a small puddle and he slipped landing directly on his left shoulder."

Tanya shared that he sustained an acromioclavicular joint dislocation and a tear in the acromioclavicular ligament. The doting wife mentioned that a steel plate had been inserted, and the AC joint had been rebuilt. Thus, requesting everyone for more prayers and well wishes, the caption further disclosed:
"In the process he sustained Acromioclavicular joint dislocation along with acromioclavicular ligament tear. A steel plate has been inserted along with AC joint reconstruction. The surgery was a success but his journey to full rehabilitation may take a while. All your Prayers and Good Wishes are welcome during this trying time."
Tanuj Virwani has been living in marital bliss ever since he got married to the love of his life, Tanya Jacob. Earlier, in an interaction with News18 Showsha, the actor opened up about soaking in everything, his newly married life has to offer. However, when asked if he felt any change in his life post-marriage, he denied it completely. Talking about the same, the actor mentioned that since they were in a live-in relationship for quite sometime before their marriage, it has helped them to bond more. He shared:
“My life hasn’t changed much because we lived together for the past few months before our wedding and that in hindsight was an important thing to do. It helped us understand each other and respect and value each other’s space.”

In the photos, the couple looked madly in love with one another. Moreover, they were seen twinning in blush pink outfits.
