'Celebrity MasterChef': Tejasswi Breaks Silence On Wedding With Karan: 'A Normal Court Marriage..'

Tejasswi Prakash is currently seen on the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef. The show is full of laughter, humour and emotions. It is hosted and judged by Farah Khan, Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna. The latest episode was a shaadi special, which featured Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal, who divided the contestants into ladkewale and ladkiwale. 

Tejaswwi Prakash shared her marriage plans with Karan Kundrra

During the episode, Farah Khan started asking contestants about love and marriage. When she reached out to Tejasswi about her wedding plan with her longtime beau, Karan Kundrra, she had a quick reply. Tejasswi, who is a Maharashtrian and her boyfriend, Karan is a Punjabi, revealed that she would be having a court marriage. She was quoted as saying:

"I am not big on that. I am okay with a normal court marriage. Hum log phir ghumenge, phirenge aish karenge types."

Tejasswi clarified to the world that her marriage would be a simple affair and not a grand one with all the shaadi tam-jham. When Hina questioned her about her love story with Karan, Tejasswi revealed they met on a reality show, and it was during Diwali sequence, when they were dancing and greeting each other, that they felt something for each other. She was quoted as saying:

"We met on a reality show. It was during a Diwali sequence. We were dancing and went towards each other to wish Happy Diwali, and something just happened."

Farah quickly quipped, "Phir patakhe phoote." Tejasswi further revealed that everyone was busy around them wishing Happy Diwali, but they stood still for five minutes feeling the connection. She said, "Yes! I’m not kidding. Everyone around us was busy exchanging greetings, but for five minutes, we just stood still." Hina Khan joked and said:

"Now everyone will start hugging each other to see if there’s a spark!"

Tejasswi Prakash is the highest-paid contestant of Celebrity MasterChef

The highest-paid contestant is Tejasswi Prakash, who was reportedly charging Rs. 3 lakh per week. And the second highest-paid contestant has been Gaurav Khanna, who got Rs. 2.5 lakh weekly. On the other hand, social media influencer, Mr Faisu, was charging Rs. 2 lakh. On the other hand, Bigg Boss 14 fame Nikki Tamboli was getting Rs. 1.5 lakh per week. However, 

When Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash's breakup rumours 

Earlier, a report in News18 Showsha revealed that Karan and Tejasswi had ended their three-year-long relationship. The report further claimed that they had not been together since May 2024, but they were keeping it under wraps, and do not want their fans to know it. A source close to the couple mentioned to the media portal that Karan and Tejasswi had been having minor disagreements for some time, leading to their ultimate decision to part ways.

The same report further revealed that a close acquaintance of Karan and Tejasswi revealed that they do not want the news to come out as they have been hailed as a ‘power couple’. However, the couple dismissed the rumours by their public appearances and mushy pictures on their Instagram handle.
