Bollywood has always inspired our weddings. From Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! to the latest Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, we have lip-synced, dressed and posed like these trendsetting movies. But, did you know that you have been told all lies? Things that happen in movies do not actually happen in the real world.
Here is a myth breaking list, which how hard you try, cannot be a part of your wedding celebrations, even if you try.

In movies, they do not really need any guidance with those suave moves. Someone dances, and the rest pick up the dance step improvising new steps cheek by jowl! And yes, everyone is in a great sync, proving unbelievable chemistry. No, this does not happen in real weddings. You will find all kinds of funny steps by uncles and aunties, and cousins and friends. Real life has more funny sequences than flawless performances.

In movies, the bride/groom realises at the last minute that the person they are about to get married to is not the right one. Realising the truth, and giving a heartwarming speech, changes are made anytime till a couple of rounds around the vedi. Relatives and friends do give the shocking reactions by dropping puja thalis, dilated eyes and quick head turns. But, everything settles down in a few minutes. And, no one has any qualms accepting the change. Expecting this in real life can be dangerous. Relatives will get involved in the drama, more than they would if it was their own child’s wedding.

Thinking of sending your wedding card to your ex? D not do this until and unless you have a plan in your mind to run away. It may happen in movies, but it never happens in real lives. Break-ups are not romanticised in real life weddings. So sending your wedding card to your ex, and expecting them to join in can be a little dangerous. Rest assure, they are not happy about it.
