Since the age of six, we truly believed that if our guidya is not wearing a red lehenga, she cannot get married. After all, red has always been a significant colour for dulhan's attire. And secretly, we have all played with our mommies red dupatta, sometimes wearing it as a saree and other times wearing it on our head and pretending to be the bride. The wedding world has evolved and so has the brides choice of colour, and many brides are no longer in love with the beauty of crimson red. The new age brides are experimenting with all the colours of the rainbow, from pretty pinks to pastel blues, and we are loving it all.

Recently, we spotted the real bride, Amanat Gill, who donned a gorgeous sky blue lehenga for her day wedding. We totally loved the way she styled her lehenga that consisted of a sleeveless choli, matching the skirt and double dupatta. She kept her accessories minimal and opted for a mathapatti, dainty nose ring, and choker neckpiece.
