'It does not matter how tall a son grows, he will always look up to his dad' – Fathers are the unsung heroes, who hardly get any acknowledgement as compared to mothers. They are the backbone of a family, work really hard for the betterment of their kids and fulfil every wish of them. A father is the role model for his son, the one he can look up to. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had welcomed their little cotton ball, Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016. From the day, Taimur was born, he stormed the internet and became a social media sensation overnight. Taimur, who is the favourite of paparazzi has always managed to make his fans go awww with his cuteness! Saif and Kareena despite having busy schedules, always manages to take time for their cute patootie. We have often seen how Kareena takes time from her shooting schedules to pick and drop Taimur to his school.
Recently, we stumbled upon an unseen picture of Saif Ali Khan sitting with his mother, Sharmila Tagore. In the picture, we can see Saif’s striking resemblance with his son, Taimur Ali Khan. Dressed in an off-white shirt, Saif strikes a similar pose with a no smile look just like Taimur. In the sepia picture, the father-son duo looks like a carbon copy of each other and proves the saying ‘like father like son’ true.
In an interaction with the Bombay Times, Saif had revealed how he feels when Taimur is sleeping when he comes back home from work. He had poured his heart out and had said, “When I come home after work and find Taimur sleeping, I feel bad. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are very well aware of the popularity of their son, Taimur Ali Khan. The moment Taimur steps out of his house, paparazzi follows him everywhere and just won’t stop clicking his pictures and his father, Saif couldn’t stand the constant media glare on him. In fact, police had to intervene outside Saif’s house and disperse the paparazzi crowd from there. Saif had spoken about the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times and had quoted, “Yes, the cops cleared the paparazzi because someone complained. Not me. I can’t say I feel kindly about their presence, because 10 people lounging about outside your house waiting for a shot of your kid is disturbing to say the least. I didn’t complain because I don’t want to deprive anyone of a job.”

Saif Ali Khan had revealed that he and his family have always maintained a cordial relationship with the paps and he understands that clicking celebrities is their livelihood but certain restrains should be maintained. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, the Omkara actor was then quoted as saying, “We have always shared a very respectful relationship with the paparazzi. We understand that it’s their livelihood. However, it’s important to understand that kids should enjoy the basic right of growing up in a normal atmosphere out of and away from the constant media glare. I believe I am well within my right as a father to choose to not pose for the cameras when I have my son with me or to inform the photographers that the constant flashes can hurt his eyes. As media figures, we have to live with the attention and we accept that.
