Born on December 28, 1932, Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani, known as Dhirubhai Ambani, had left a huge impact on society. Way ahead of his time, Dhirubhai Ambani’s journey from an errand runner to a business tycoon has always fascinated millions. July 6 marks the legendary businessman’s death anniversary, and it is his daughter-in-law, Tina Ambani, who penned an emotional note for him.
Taking to her IG handle, Tina posted a few unseen pictures of Dhirubhai Ambani, wherein the first picture showed him posing with his son, Anil Ambani, bahu, Tina Ambani and grandchildren, Jai Anmol Ambani and Jai Anshul Ambani.

The second picture featured Dhirubhai Ambani with his son, Anil Ambani. Whereas, in the third picture, Tina and Anil along with Kokilaben Ambani posed for a complete family picture with Dhirubhai. Along with the priceless memories, Tina penned a heartfelt note revealing how his family misses him every day. Her note can be read as:
“Dhirubhai Ambani did yesterday what the rest of India is doing today. Far ahead of his time in so many ways, a true visionary. At home, he encouraged each of us to think out of the box, be the best version of ourselves and dedicate ourself to self-actualization. We miss you every day Pappa. And we try to apply your infinite wisdom to our own lives.”
Dhirubhai Ambani was not just a great business tycoon but also an excellent husband and a doting father and grandfather. He and his wife, Kokilaben Ambani, are blessed with four kids, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Deepti Salgaocar and Neena Kothari. Dhirubhai shared a warm bond with his children and stood as their pillar of strength at each stage of their lives.

It was on February 16, 1986, when Dhirubhai Ambani suffered his first cerebral stroke. After the first stroke, Dhirubhai Ambani’s right hand got paralysed. Following his first stroke, Dhirubhai Ambani handed Reliance Industries to his sons, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani. The business magnate suffered another stroke on June 24, 2002, and was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital. He was in a coma and was put on life support for one week. On July 6, 2002, Dhirubhai Ambani bid adieu to the world.
Dhirubhai Ambani will always be missed.
