Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani, known as Dhirubhai Ambani, founded Reliance Industries and became a successful and inspirational business tycoon, who, even today, is respected for his rags to riches journey. After the demise of Dhirubhai Ambani, his sons, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani were locked in a feud over the business, which was later split between them. While Mukesh kept the oil and petrochemical, Anil took over the power and telecom businesses.

Dhirubhai Ambani was a determined and ambitious man, who believed in his dream, pursued it and it was his wife, Kokilaben Ambani, who stood by him through the thick and thin. Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani were one power couple, who never let fame, success and money affect their grounded nature and humbleness. After Dhirubhai Ambani's demise, his sons, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani, and daughters-in-law, Nita Ambani and Tina Ambani have been taking care of Kokilaben Ambani.
Former actress, Tina Ambani is an avid Instagrammer, who never leaves a chance to express her love and admiration for her loved ones. On Dhirubhai Ambani's 19th death anniversary, Tina posted a few pictures of her late father-in-law and captioned them as "Pappa, your presence is felt always. Your guidance is missed, your memories are treasured, your light is cherished. Today and every day."
Last year, on Dhirubhai Ambani's 18th death anniversary, Tina Ambani had posted a smiling picture of her late father-in-law. Tina had written in the caption, "Thinking of you today, Pappa. Your wisdom and insight are needed more than ever today. I can visualize you brimming with ideas, your mind working overtime with thoughts, recommendations, solutions to combat the economic challenges we face as a society, as a country, indeed worldwide. The world is in short supply of karmayogis, and we miss you today, every day, always. Indeed, you are irreplaceable, and your light is eternal."

To mark the 88th birth anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani on December 28, 2020, Tina Ambani had posted a picture with him and one with her husband, Anil Ambani and her father-in-law in the frame. Revealing what her father-in-law had taught them, Tina had written, "There was, is and will be no one like you Pappa. You brought out the best in each one of us and taught us how to broaden our horizons. While we miss you immensely, you remain part of our being, guiding and watching over us, lighting our path and reminding us each day of the possibilities life holds. Happy birthday."
On International Day of Families 2021, Tina Ambani had posted throwback pictures with her hubby, Anil Ambani and their sons, Jai Anmol Ambani and Jai Anshul Ambani. Emphasising the importance of family, Tina had written, "If there's one thing we've learnt in these times, it's the importance of family. Every day together is cause for cheer, an occasion to celebrate, an opportunity to give thanks. Hold your loved ones close - physically and emotionally, or virtually.
