Triptii Dimri is riding high on the professional front at the moment. From singing back-to-back films to breaking box office records, Triptii is no wonder she is at the peak of her acting career. The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which will hit theatres on October 11, 2024. People are already excited to see the movie after witnessing Triptii and Rajkummar's chemistry in the film's trailer and the songs, Tum Jo Mile Ho and Mere Mehboob.
Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao attended the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024 to promote their upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and discussed a series of things. However, Triptii's stance on her acting performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal became the event's highlight. When the actress was asked to reveal why she decided to star in Animal as 'Zoya', Triptii defended her role and talked about it at length.

Triptii Dimri revealed that when Sandeep Reddy Vanga came to her and offered her the role of 'Zoya' in Animal, she got excited. The actress shared that whenever she gets a role, she starts feeling scared, but at the same time, she takes it as a challenge. Triptii added that the same thing happened when SRV narrated Zoya's character to her, as she found the character both 'innocent and brave', just like she is in real life. Adding to this, Triptii stated that she is always looking for something different, which is why she decided to star in Animal as 'Zoya'. She said:
"Every time I get a role, I feel like it's both scary and challenging. That's exactly how I felt when Sandeep Sir explained Zoya's character to me. She seemed both brave and innocent at the same time, and that excited me. I'm always looking for roles that offer something different."
Further, in the same discussion, Triptii Dimri also addressed the criticism Animal received for its troubled characters and storyline. The actress clearly stated that she is pleased with how she approached her character, 'Zoya', in the film. Talking about her character's vulnerability, Triptii admitted that she's glad that she got the chance to play such a different character.
Not only this, Triptii Dimri also admitted that as an actor she is blessed to live through so many different experiences in one lifetime. The actress responded perfectly to the haters as she showed no signs of regret in doing bold and intimate scenes with Ranbir, which created a stir in the film industry. It was wonderful to see Triptii Dimri holding her ground despite people trying to mock her repeatedly by pointing fingers at her role in Animal. She said:

"I would approach Zoya's character exactly the same way I did. Acting lets us experience a wide range of emotions, and I consider actors lucky because we get to live through so many different experiences in one lifetime."
After the release of her upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri will appear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Dhadak 2.
