Triptii Dimri is one of the most talked about actresses in Bollywood. Her impressive acting performance in the movie, Animal has won her a lot of recognition and appreciation. At the same time, it earned her the title of 'National Crush' for her beauty and acting skills. As the actress is gearing up for the release of her next film, Bad Newz, she shared her take on the title at its trailer launch event.
Since Animal, Triptii is called as the 'National Crush' whenever she shares any picture. At the trailer launch event of Bad Newz, she was asked about her response to the title given to her by the fans. Triptii was quick to express her gratitude and was happy that people liked her work and talked about it. She was quoted as saying:
"In my experience, luckily, I would like to thank god, because in my experience, it has been the other way around, as many films I have done in my career, whether they are the older films that I did earlier, or the ones that have released recently, I have received a lot of love from my audience. People have liked my work and have spoken about it."

Triptii recalled that when she entered Bollywood, she wanted people to see and discuss her work. She feels lucky that people talk about her work, and the appreciation of fans keeps her motivated to do better.
Triptii made her acting debut with Shreyas Talpade's directorial venture, Poster Boys, in 2017. So, she will soon be completing six years in the film industry. When the media asked Triptii about her response, she shared that she was happy on the occasion and that the release of her first film with Dharma Productions, Bad Newz, would make it more special. She thanked the film's team for trusting her work. In her words:
"(Working on Bad Newz) was genuinely like a family working together. Everyday, on set, we would laugh and share jokes. It's an important day because I have been in the industry for six years and for the first time, I am at my proper Hindi film trailer launch. It's my first Hindi commercial film to be released and my first collaboration with Dharma Productions. It's a great feeling, and I am very thankful to everyone on stage for trusting me for this part."

Triptii was last seen in the blockbuster film, Animal, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. She will next be seen in her upcoming film, Bad Newz, co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. It will be released in theatres on July 19, 2024. In addition, she will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Dhadak 2.
