Tusshar Kapoor had embraced fatherhood and had become a single parent to Laksshya Kapoor in 2016 through IVF. Despite the challenges during the COVID-19 lockdown, single father, Tusshar is making sure to keep his little one entertained at home. And not just this, even the soon-to-be four-year-old, Laksshya is such a big boy that he understands how we can fight the coronavirus pandemic. A video posted by Tusshar sometime back, had Laksshya speaking on why we are stuck at home and how can we fight the COVID-19. Tusshar had captioned the video as “#STAYHOME #gharbaithozindaraho #indiafightscorona.”
As a grown up, all we miss is the childhood games that we used to play with our friends. From Maaram Pitti, Gully Cricket, Chupan Chupai, Kanche to Pitthoo Garam and whatnot. Do you remember the game Stapoo? Well, it was the only struggle back then that we had to hop on one foot and maintain our balance to win this game. Tusshar Kapoor is reminiscing the good old days with his son, Laksshya Kapoor and created a hopscotch design in their home. Tusshar captioned the videos as “Hey, we created the ‘hopscotch’ design on the ground at home, this helped bring a part of the outdoor activities indoor! Might be useful to some parents, especially single, who need some downtime while homebound!”
Being a single parent, Tusshar Kapoor is facing different sets of challenges during the COVID-19 lockdown and in an interview with The Times of India, he spoke about his primary concern. Tusshar had said, “My prime concern has been to manage my work life and my son’s homeschooling. He will be tutored by me at home with assignments that are being assigned to us through email. So, I have more work being at home. While people are saying that they get bored at home, I have more things to do. Managing my work and my son’s schooling is a challenge. I am trying to make the most of it and as enjoyable as possible.” (Also Read: Karan Johar's Kids, Yash Johar And Roohi Johar Plead Him Not To Sing, Accuse Him Of Making Noise)

Last month, Tusshar Kapoor had posted a picture with Laksshya Kapoor as he read him a bedtime story. Reading him a book called Earth Helpers, Tusshar had captioned the post as “Reading a bedtime story to my son about sustainability & environmental protection is my way of making a small change for our planet! Let's Celebrate Earth Day, Every Day! Make conscious efforts to bring small changes that can make a big difference. #earthday #challenge #nature #environment #climate #plastic #clothBags #duniya2020.” In another video, he had given a glimpse of the perils of homeschooling. Tusshar had captioned the video as “The perils of trying to home school, while in lockdown!”
In The Times of India interview, Tusshar Kapoor had revealed if his son, Laksshya Kapoor knows about the pandemic and how is he explaining it to his little one. He was quoted as saying, “Laksshya hasn’t understood the gravity of the situation but I have told him that everything is closed because people are falling sick and there is a virus. He knows that there is some sort of problem but he doesn’t understand the science behind it. He is only three and a half years old. He has adjusted to the fact that there is no school. We are going to be having spring break from Friday so he has missed just five days of school.”
Speaking about the pros and cons of the homeschooling, Tusshar Kapoor had continued, “Laksshya took a day to adjust to homeschooling. On the first day, he started resisting the homework pattern of this kind of schooling. I try to make it fun and at my own pace. Since we don’t have friends with us, I try to involve other members of my household like my help. Also, to make my schooling exercises interesting so that it doesn’t feel like a burden to him.” (Also Read: Misha Kapoor Catches Her Mommy, Mira Rajput Kapoor Cheating In 'Math And Snack' Game, Shares Proof)
