Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar are pure couple goals, who have always amazed their fans with their camaraderie. While he is one of the most bankable actors of Bollywood, she is an acclaimed author, who is known by her pen name, Mrs Funnybones. Akshay and Twinkle had tied the knot on January 17, 2001, amidst 50 close people and that too, in just two hours. The couple is blessed with two kids, a son, Aarav, born on September 15, 2002, and a daughter, Nitara, born on September 25, 2012.
It was during the shooting of their film, International Khiladi, when Akshay and Twinkle had fallen in love with one another. It was during that time when Twinkle had developed an interest in this ‘six feet of chocolate ice cream’ as a rebound from her failed relationship. A relationship that had started as a fling had turned into a lifetime of togetherness.

On June 3, 2022, Twinkle Khanna took to her IG handle and posted a Reel, giving glimpses of one of the best days of her life. In the Reel, she was seen cheering for a pride walk along with her hubby, Akshay Kumar as well as attending Adele’s concert in London. We also saw Twinkle humming to the tunes of Adele. Along with the Reel, Twinkle revealed that she had the best day and wrote:
“You don’t wake up thinking it’s going to be one of the best days of your life. The best thing about the best day, is it happens unexpectedly. It’s sitting on the grass with your family on a nice morning. Brushing against the joy of celebrating LGBT+ communities with Pride.
Twinkle also revealed why she got teary-eyed at the concert and continued her note:
“Going to a concert, singing till you lose your voice, and getting teary-eyed looking at your child’s face, the one who claims to be Adele’s greatest fan. It’s both the feeling of a waterfall thundering through your chest, and the soft humming within your heart. Happiness is accidental. On January 17, 2022, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar had completed 21 years of marital bliss. To mark the occasion, the doting husband had shared a throwback picture of the duo. Akshay had also penned a heartfelt note for his loving wife and had written:
"Twenty one years since we've been married and yet it feels like I'm just getting to know her. Thank you for making each day feel like the first. Happy Anniversary Tina #21YearsOfAdventure."
For the unversed, in 2019, Twinkle had launched a bilingual digital media platform, Tweak India for women.
