Accept it or not, but grandparents hold an important part of our beautiful childhood. Whether we had a chik-chik wali daadi (paternal grandma) or a cool nani (maternal grandma) or a 6 ft tall perfect gentleman daddu (paternal grandpa), they had loved us more than our parents. Happily fulfilled all our demands and made sure that no one, I repeat no one could ever lay a hand on us. With them, every occasion seemed like a grand celebration. Whenever we take a journey down our memory lane, it is their faces that comes first in our mind. The writer took to her Instagram handle and posted a yummy picture of her Eid delicacy. Alongside it, she wrote a note while reminiscing the eid celebration with her nani's special Khichda. Her note can be read as "e rarely made biryani on Eid. Our treat was always Nani’s delicious Kichda and decorated envelopes with our Eidi. This year, our hearts and our table have too many empty spaces without her to fill it all up." Check it out:
After Twinkle's grandmother's sudden demise, the writer had shared an adorable throwback picture. In the picture, we could see her nani teaching her the lessons of knitting and we had loved adorable the two looked. For the first time, Twinkle had not written any fancy words to describe her emotions, after all, the picture was enough to pay tribute to her nani's love.
