Twinkle Khanna, daughter of Bollywood's veteran actress, Dimple Kapadia and legendary late actor, Rajesh Khanna had started her career as an actress. However, after a few films, she had realised acting wasn't her cup of tea and had shifted her focus to writing. Now, she is a well-renowned author and a content creator who is known for her witty responses.
Twinkle is a very family person. She loves her husband, Akshay Kumar, and she is a doting mother to two wonderful kids, Aarav Kumar and Nitara Kumar. She also maintains a YouTube channel, Tweak India, wherein she uploads videos regarding celeb interviews, DIY tips and many more.

A while back, Twinkle had shared a few DIY tips on how to transform a balcony and a guest room in her DIY design series, Spacelift. On June 18, 2022, Twinkle Khanna uploaded a brand new video wherein she showed how to transform a messy master bedroom into an 'oasis of peace' and that too within a budget of Rs. 3,500. In the opening of the video, Twinkle can be heard saying:
"In home decor, living rooms are like the popular girls in college that get all the attention, and bedrooms, are hidden behind closed doors. Vahan laundry ka hamper, yahan suitcases ka Taj Mahal... Aur bed pe geela towel rehna toh, ghar ghar ki baat hai."
In the video, Twinkle shares a few tips on how one should always invest in a good mattress and buy a bed with good storage and a 'plush headboard'. She also mentioned making it on our own or with a carpenter's help to get sasta, sundar or tikau headboard. Going further in the video, Twinkle showed how a bedside table could be get accessorised and revealed her own personal struggles of being a huge water drinker. She said that she likes to keep a jug of water beside her as she drinks all through the night and takes a lot of toilet trips. In her words:
"This way, our 2,000 steps also get done while other people are snoring."

Twinkle further added that one can always put long trays or baskets for under-the-bed storage, and to maintain subtleness and calmness of the room, one must go with the neutral tones for it. She said as she was playing the guitar:
"Your bedroom should be your place of rest where you can escape from work, emails, kiddy tantrums, and the symphony of traffic horns."
For the unversed, this was Twinkle's third episode of the transformation series titled Spacelift.
