Karva Chauth is one of the most sacred festivals for Indian women, especially the married ones and the brides-to-be. They celebrate it by keeping fasting the whole day for the long life and happiness of their husbands.

There are many celebrities from our fraternity who celebrated Karva Chauth this year. But one celebrity that stirred the pot in a very different manner is TV actress, Arti Singh.
Waaris fame actress, Arti, posted a few pictures on this Karva Chauth posing in the traditional attire. But what generated loads of buzz and caught everybody’s attention, was her forehead. Because she had applied sindoor!

Yes, you read that right! She donned herself in an orange saree and applied sindoor on her forehead, like a traditional Hindu married woman.

Now, we all know that she is unmarried, and hasn’t even announced anything about her relationship status. Quite evidently, speculations rose soon after she posted the pictures.

Are these speculations and conjectures baseless, or is it true that she is hiding her marriage or any information about her beau?
Well, whatever the truth is, we would eventually come to know in some time. However, it must be noted here that just recently, in a print interview that she did a while ago, she openly accepted about fasting on Karva Chauth this year.

She said:
“I am fasting on Karva Chauth for my soulmate, wherever he may be.”

So, here we’re! It seems that there is certainly smoke without any fire. The speculations are perhaps wrong, considering she earlier made it abundantly clear that she will keep fast on Karva Chauth for her soulmate.
Quite obviously, her fasting on Karva Chauth or her traditional costume is pretty okay. But applying sindoor, perhaps, went overboard because in India only married woman wears sindoor on their forehead. So, we wish Arti all the happiness in her life and may her soulmate arrive soon! We also wish her all the luck in her career.
